These terms apply to every quote and project by Hugo Molin. They are written in plain language. If a signed quote says something different, the quote wins.
1. Quotes
A quote is valid for 30 days. The project starts once you have accepted the quote in writing (email is fine) and the deposit has been paid.
2. Payment
You pay 50% of the project price before work starts and the rest before the website or app goes live. Invoices are due within 14 days. If an invoice is late, I send a reminder first; if it stays unpaid, I may pause the work until it is paid.
3. Your part
You provide the text, photos, logins and feedback the project needs, on time. If content or feedback arrives late, the planning moves with it.
4. Changes
The number of feedback rounds is in your quote: 1 for a one-page website, 2 for a business website and 3 for custom work and apps. Extra rounds and work outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before I start on them.
5. Ownership
Once the final invoice is paid, you own the design, the content and the code made for your project. Fonts, themes, plugins and other third-party parts stay under their own licenses. I may show the finished work in my portfolio, unless we agree otherwise.
6. Hosting and other services
Services such as hosting, domains, email, Google and the Apple Developer Program are provided by other companies under their own terms and prices, and you pay them directly. These accounts are created in your name and I am invited as a member. I never ask for your passwords, and you can remove my access at any time.
7. After launch
Bugs you report within 30 days after launch are fixed for free. This does not cover problems caused by changes made by others or by updates of third-party services. For ongoing updates and support, there is the care plan.
8. Liability
My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the project. I am not liable for indirect damage such as lost revenue, unless the damage was caused on purpose or by gross negligence.
9. Stopping a project
You can stop a project at any time. If work has not started yet, you get the deposit back in full. Once work has started, the deposit is not refunded: it pays for the time reserved for your project and the first work. If the work done is worth more than the deposit, you pay the difference.
10. Privacy and law
Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy. These terms fall under Dutch law, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
